OSLO10 is delighted to present the first project of London-based THE PIRACY PROJECT in Switzerland!

THE PIRACY PROJECT is an international publication and exhibition project. It examines the philosophical, legal, and practical effects of cultural piracy as well as the creative potential of copying and reproduction processes. Thanks to an international call for artist contributions combined with own research, THE PIRACY PROJECT has compiled a collection of more than 100 modified and pirated books from around the world. This collection, which has also been catalogued online, serves as the basis for discussions and working sessions dealing with notions of the original and authorship, as well as controversies surrounding the protection of intellectual thought and copyright. THE PIRACY PROJECT is a collaboration between the artists Eva Weinmayr and Andrea Francke as a part of the program AND Publishing (www.andpublishing.org).

THE PIRACY PROJECT at OSLO10 is organized in collaboration with:
Institut Kunst der Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst (FHNW)

Opening hours: THU – SAT, 2 pm – 6 pm
