„C’est l’histoire d’un homme qui tombe d’un immeuble de cinquante étages. Le mec, au fur et à mesure de sa chute se répète sans cesse pour se rassurer: jusqu’ici tout va bien, jusqu’ici tout va bien, jusqu’ici tout va bien. Mais l'important c’est pas la chute, c’est l’atterrissage."
Mathieu Kassovitz, La Haine (1995)

Jusqu’ici tout va bien is a group exhibition about the perception of crisis and the resulting altered sense of time.
According to the Political Lexicon the notion of crisis describes a massive disturbance in social, political or economic systems over the course of a longer period of time. 'Krisis' is the Greek word for decision, but it also means dichotomy, assessment and answer. As a situation of uncertainty, crisis also enables the opportunity for actively sought improvement and challenges the subject to constantly reposition itself.

Jusqu’ici tout va bien looks to artistic expressions and observations that address the condition of crisis as an ongoing, long-term disturbance. Thereby the perception of time running out and the countdown plays a central role, as well as the inextricable link between time and economy. How do the perception of continuous instability and the anxiety to be on a freefall manifest themselves in art? How does an awareness of the fragility of systems influence our lives and how does this transform our view of the future? The group exhibition brings together artists, who reflect in their works the condition of crisis between stagnation and countdown as well as the shifting valuation of time.
